What the desktop app would add
A tray icon
Closing the window would keep DenwaysMeet running, so calls and mentions would still reach you.
Native notifications
Desktop alerts for mentions, replies and DMs would arrive with the app in the background.
A screen-share picker
A native picker would let you choose a specific window or monitor, and share system audio along with it.
The current version
The app would load the current DenwaysMeet each time it opened, so there would be nothing to reinstall.
The browser works on every platform
A Linux build isn't published either. DenwaysMeet works fully in the browser on any platform.
