Spaces, categories, and rooms
Every space in your organization renders as its own collapsible folder in the sidebar. Categories collapse related rooms within a space, and can be moved between spaces - every room inside moves along with it.
Fine-grained visibility
Private rooms are visible only to the members you explicitly add. Drag-and-drop reordering works across rooms, categories and spaces. Every change updates live for everyone affected, whether you create, rename, move or delete, with no refresh needed.
What room types can you create?
A room can be text, voice, announcement or forum. You join a voice room like any other room, with no scheduling. A live indicator shows where people are already talking, even inside a collapsed category.
How many spaces and rooms does each plan allow?
Each plan limits the spaces in an organization and the rooms in each space.
- Free: 1 space, 5 rooms in each
- Starter: 5 spaces, 25 rooms in each
- Business: 50 spaces, 100 rooms in each
- Enterprise: unlimited spaces, unlimited rooms in each
- Education: unlimited spaces, unlimited rooms in each
How do permissions work across a space?
A space, category or room can allow or deny any permission for a specific role. Overrides pass down from space to category to room, and a deny always wins. When a role loses access to a room, the room leaves that person’s sidebar.
