Support Tickets & Private Help Rooms: Native ticketing, without a separate helpdesk tool
Post an "Open a support ticket" button anywhere. Anyone who clicks it gets a private room, just for them, with your support team.
How it works
The ticket room is visible only to the person who opened it, your configured support role, and your organization’s admins - everyone else, including other regular members, can’t see it exists. An automatic welcome message posts in, followed by a Close Ticket button.
- A private room per requester, auto-created under a category you choose
- A configurable support role and welcome message
- Closing makes the room read-only instead of deleting it, so the conversation stays as a record
How do you set up support tickets?
Choose the category for new ticket rooms, the support role that answers them and the welcome message. Then post an "Open a support ticket" button with the /button command, wherever people should find it.
Who can post a ticket button?
Buttons are gated by a permission. Managers, Admins and the Owner have it by default, and you can grant it to any other role. Automated ticket messages can also carry your organization’s custom name and avatar.
